中国首个跨年设计周
2014idw杭州国际设计周于2014年12月28日至2015年01月03日举办，是中国首个跨年设计周。本届设计周的口号为“都有一颗设计的心”，以“治愈”为主题策展，将设计创新与人文关怀两个方面作为策展核心，切实形成社会公众真正参与的文化交流活动。设计周展览主场馆位于南宋御街，近二十个“治愈”为主题的分馆，持续七天，从每天早上十点至晚上八点面向公众免费开放。来自海内外的设计师及跨界艺术家共同打造的治愈力关怀将会温暖杭州的这个冬天。
10号馆 -- 原创设计师馆（中山中路43号）
2014年初，idw杭州国际设计周通过微信公众平台，向全世界发出邀请，征集到了相当数量的具有创新意识的艺术创作。根据创新性、艺术性、多元化和时代感这四组关键词，idw精心挑选了五位设计师作品，作为2014idw“原创馆”的展览内容。其中唯一的建筑作品来自年青的25岁中国建筑师郦文曦，他的作品《坡上云》希望建筑把山坡连接起来，人们可以在建筑屋顶上自由的嬉戏甚至沐浴，人与自然通过建筑相关联。此作品也是郦文曦本科毕业设计，由现任浙江理工大学建筑系主人都铭博士指导，这一作品极具先锋性，以至于成为不被看好的毕业设计，当时此作品仅获得77分。然而时间证明这种将建筑与自然相连接的做法受到了全世界的认可，该作品与东京奥运会主场馆建筑师隈研吾的作品一同受邀参展。
China's first New Year's Design Week
IDW Hangzhou International Design Week 2014 was held from December 28, 2014 to January 03, 2015, and was China's first New Year's Design Week. The slogan of this design week is "There is a heart of design", with "cure" as the theme of curators, design innovation and humanistic care as the core of curators, and effectively form a real public participation in cultural exchange activities. The main venue of the Design Week exhibition is located in the Southern Song Dynasty Street, with nearly 20 "healing"-themed pavilions, which last for seven days and are open to the public free of charge from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Designers from home and abroad and cross-border artists to create a healing care will warm Hangzhou this winter.
Hall 10 - Original Designer Pavilion (43 Zhongshan Middle Road)
In early 2014, idw Hangzhou International Design Week invited a significant number of innovative artistic creations to the world through the WeChat Public Platform. Based on four sets of key words: innovation, artistry, diversity and a sense of the times, idw carefully selected five designer works for the 2014 "Original Pavilion" exhibition. One of the only architectural works comes from the young 25-year-old Chinese architect LI Wenxi, his work "Cloud on the Slope" hope that the building will connect the hillsides, people can freely play on the roof of the building and even bathe, people and nature through the building. This work is also the undergraduate design of Yan Wenxuan, by the current Zhejiang University of Technology, the master of the Department of Architecture, Dr. Doo Ming guidance, this work is so pioneering, so that it became an under-seen graduation design, when the work received only 77 points. However, time has shown that this connection between architecture and nature has been recognized around the world, and the work was invited to participate in the exhibition, together with the work of the architect of the main venue of the Tokyo Olympic Games, Kengo kuma.
