The Only Center with Discrete Border, Tokyo | IN.Architects

The Project is Located in the Center of Tokyo, Japan, Near the Ichigaya Station.

It is a Specialized School for Painting and Art Theory Teaching.

In the Standard Level of 300 Square Meters Which Need to Arrange the Function of Studio, Classroom and Office.

Only Center

We Put the Studio in the Center of the Layer, to Express Painting as the Core of the Narrative of Story.

In Order to Emphasize Its Centrality, In the Center of Studio I Put a Pillar Which Cross Section is 15 Square Centimeters, This Pillar in Japan is Known as the Black Column.

Discrete Border

Coming Into the Studio Means Entering the Creative State, This Entrance is the Ferry between Reality and Ideal, Walking Through the Entrance Just Like Passing Through a Complex Road, The Inside of the Road Should be Dark, but the End of the Road Must be Bright.

So I Made the Entrance as a Black Crooked Box.

It is Interesting to Watch Painting from Outside the House, People may Bent over to Peep, or Turn a Glance, Inadvertently Saw Himself Who Concentrate on Painting.

Then I Opened the Irregular Window Which is Point Like, Let Us Find the Time Full of Curiosity.
